My name is Lori Bruce and this year I will begin my eighteenth year of teaching at St. Joseph's. I spent eight years teaching fifth grade and another eight years teaching sixth grade. This fall marks my second year in the Middle School teaching 6th grade Math and Reading as well as 7th grade Communication Skills. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota - Duluth and a Master's Degree in Curriculum Development and Instruction from St. Thomas University. As a graduate of St. Joseph's, I find it exciting and rewarding to be teaching where I began my own educational journey!
I have had the unique opportunity of experiencing St. Joseph's as a student, a teacher, and a parent. I know this community well and believe it is a strong environment in which our students can grow and thrive.
Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, gardening, and golfing.
